Our History
CASBE International was founded in 2015 to establish an authentic international school in the then Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. CASBE is an independent co-ed with a growing population of approximately 500 students and a thriving Parent Teacher Association group.
Mission
Our mission is to provide individualized education that addresses students’ unique learning styles, cultivates independent thought, and promotes the building of character, enabling them to contribute to their communities in meaningful and positive ways.
Vision
To help each child identify their potential and sufficiently equip each child to attain it. This can be done by developing the love for learning, promote excellence in all areas of endeavours, and provide access to outstanding educational experiences, teachers and facilities
Values
Our values shape the purpose and reality of our school. We not only communicate them, we live and teach them. We equip our students with skills that will provide them with a solid academic foundation, where they support and have respect for one another and their community.
Grade Levels
Nursery
Our little ones enjoy uninterrupted, child-directed play. This allows them to interact socially and engage with their friends. Exploration of a wide variety of equipment promotes healthy, physical bodies, promoting the development of flexibility, endurance, and strength.
Kindergarten
The early years of a child’s formal education is the foundation upon which future academic and life skills are built. The Kindergarten Faculty believes children’s natural curiosity and love of learning blossoms within a classroom that is supportive, dynamic, and enquiry based.
Primary
The Primary Program provides a nurturing enivonment that continues to promote a love for learning and focus on the core skills which are necessary for success. While following the national curriculum, educators provide opportunities for learners to explore topics in depth, creating a space for innovation and independent learning.
Junior High
The Junior High Program provides a distinctive academic experience for our learners. The academic programme gives each learner a firm grasp of fundamental skills, the ability to think critically, innovatively, and independently, and fosters a love of learning. Educators create learning activities that are motivational, technology-rich, and aligned to the needs of modern learners.
Hybrid Experience
Cambridge Education + Ghanaian Curriculum
Our Casbe students receive state of the art education instructions. Our philosophy is to utilize the whole-child approach from a personal to a global perspective. We encourage: disciple, diligence and persistence in a caring and compassionate environment. Casbe is the students’ home away from home. Each day is a joyful journey into the world of learning!
Message from First CEO
When I came to Ghana six years ago I did not know what I wanted to do. What I did know is if I was going to work I needed to do something which inspired me. When the owner, Christopher Beyere, called my wife he said that he wanted CASBE schools to be among the best in West Africa and that motivated me to see the work being done there. On agreeing to become the CEO I was determined that CASBE would be a community where everyone was valued, regardless of whether they were a pupil, a cleaner, a teacher, myself or the owner. Chris Beyere inspired me throughout my tenure at the school to achieve my best and for everyone at the school to achieve their best. Sometimes, as we are human, we did not achieve everything we wanted to but that did not stop us all from trying. I keep in touch with people from the school now and know this is still the case. CASBE will always be a community but what that community is depends on the pupils, the parents and the staff all coming together to make it the best of Ghana and in Ghana.
I wish you all well.
Our Cambridge Curriculum
The Cambridge Primary Curriculum Framework provides a natural progression through six stages of Primary education, from Stage 1 when children first enter Primary education (at the approximate age of 5) to Stage 6 when they usually move on to Secondary education (at about age 11).
The curriculum framework provides a valuable structure that focuses on what children should be able to do at each of the primary stages. The Cambridge Primary Curriculum Framework helps teachers to develop the highest quality program for teaching young children English, Mathematics and Science. This forms the basis of the Cambridge International Primary Program.
